Horrendous Day
Take it from me.... don't ever ever try outdoor sales....
In life, you seriously don't need to get rejected more than what you already experience.... I reckon in the short frame of 3 hours that I was trying to sell the snoopy soft toy, I was rejected more than I would have been in an entire year of my life..... Damn.... And it is a 10 day job thing..... looks like this suffering will only continue on..... One day at a time I guess.....
I must say that I almost sold 2 though.... One to a little malay girl who was crying.... her mother was totally willing to buy the snoopy if she even said that she wanted it.... but no no, she just had to get the macdonald's snoopy, which was so much smaller and uglier.... The other one was to a guy who actually came back and asked me whether I was doing this for charity.... I said no, and he walked off.....
Holidays don't look that cheery after all.... and what the hack.... its supposed to be Christmas....
Note to self: If I ever have to choose between outdoor sales and hawker center cleaner, take the latter....
